Performed by Tony Mills & Matt Foster (David Hughes Dance Productions), Box Fresh explores the void between b-boying and contemporary dance. The piece describes our own personal journeys from hip hop into the orthodox dance world and the conflicting images that are associated with each genre. By mixing movement based in b-boying with physical theatre, it raises questions of identity both in the hip hop world and the wider dance community.
